Pressure relief valves

OMG pressure relief valves have been expressly designed for OMG metering pumps and are particularly suitable as relief and backpressure valves for reciprocating metering pumps.

The maximum reliability is assured by the special design together with precision manufacturing and test.

The valves are full nozzle and flat seat type, with closed bonnet and insulated spring. The possibility to adjust in-line the set pressure, the easy disassembly and replacing of the seats, the range of available optionals assure simple and safe use under all conditions.


All the valves are set at the test bench with atmospheric backpressure. The set pressure, the dimensions and characteristics of the valves are shown on the valve tag.

Calibration pots

Back pressure valves

OMG back pressure valves are designed for low pressure applications, and should be used whenever the discharge pressure is lower than 1.5 bar. They are normally supplied in a 316 stainless steel execution.
